Project tasks:
Redevelopment the web-application user interface (UI):
1. Multi-browser and multi-platform support, including mobile device support through use of jQuery and jQuery Mobile;
2. Lower UI coupling and cohesion factors by utilizing Model-View-Controller (MVC) design pattern with ASP.NET MVC;
3. UI Extensibility;
- Ability to add/enhance functionality without affecting other parts of application/UI,
- Ability to integrate with other applications (both internal and external) without having to re-write anything.
4. Fast and “snappy” user interaction;
5. High (80% or more) code coverage of UI through automated unit tests (UTs) and coded UI tests (CUITs).
6. Evolutionary implementation approach:
- Employ new technologies/design patterns gradually – one subsystem at a time
- Maintain one cohesive application by integrating newly redesigned modules with legacy subsystems
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 year development experience with C#, ASP.NET, WCF and the .Net Framework.
A minimum of 5 year development experience with ASP.NET Web Forms
A minimum of 2 years development experience with ASP.NET MVC 2.0
Working knowledge of ASP.NET MVC 3.0 with Razor
A minimum of 2 year of experience with jQuery
Working knowledge of jQuery Mobile
